STARON® 10 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

Staron® Solid Surfaces Solid Surfaces by SAMSUNG (the “Product”) permanently installed in commercial applications is warranted against material defects.

This warranty is made available to the original owner of the project in Australia, and is not transferable or assignable and this limited warranty expires if sold, transferred or assigned.

This warranty excludes the following:

1. Misuse;
2. Abuse (including physical or chemical);
3. Improper installation or maintenance;
4. Damage caused by extreme heat;
5. Damage caused by an act of nature;
6. Minor conditions such as stains, scratches, water spots and burns, which due to the unique properties of Staron® Solid Surfaces Solid Surfaces, may be corrected by techniques specified in Care & Maintenance instructions;
7. Failure not to comply with SAMSUNG’s instructions including Fabrication, Installation, Care, Maintenance, etc.;
8. Failure or dissatisfaction with appearance of joints or seams, or of any adhesive, caulk or other accessory items;
9. Color variation from the sample;
10. Workmanship of Fabricator or Installers; and
11. Damages from other than manufacturing defect.

SAMSUNG, at its sole option, will determine whether to provide materials necessary for repair or replacement due to the Product manufacturing defects. Except as to what is stated in this limited warranty herein, SAMSUNG makes no warranties, express or implied, in respect to the Product, including, but not limited to, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, and all such warranties hereby are expressly disclaimed. SAMSUNG does not warrant that the Product will meet the end users’ requirements. SAMSUNG shall not be liable for incidental, consequential, indirect, special, punitive, or exemplary damages of any kind, including lost good will, lost profits, lost business, or other indirect economic damages, and further including injury to property, whether such claim is based on theories of contract, negligence, tort (including strict liability) or otherwise, as a result of breach of any warranty regardless of whether SAMSUNG was advised, had other reason to know, or in fact knew of the possibility of such damages. SOME STATES DO DOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION STATED ABOVE, SO THE ABOVE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS. YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS, WHICH WILL VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.

Warranty Registration:

To activate this limited warranty, please contact your fabricator / installer or your local Staron® Solid Surfaces distributor to register online and obtain the registration number for the materials. Also, the receipt or proof of purchase and installation of Staron® Solid Surfaces Solid Surfaces, which clearly proves the product and date of installation, must be kept and provided upon request.
