Prdesign recently used Staron® for RedSpoon Frozen Culture flagship unique store fitout in Fremantle, Western Australia. The store space was very small and narrow so the concept of one continuous and striking bench was designed. Staron® was the perfect surface solution for this application due to its seamless, non porous and thermoformable nature.

On Thursday 2nd June, 2011, Waves Surfaces launched the opening of their new showroom exhibiting beautiful pieces and installations of Samsung Staron® Solid Surfaces. The event took place at the Waves Surfaces showroom in Maddington, WA. The state’s leading designers and architects were invited to view the exciting new space and experience a night celebrating design.

Beautiful and clever design! This bar space in Germany features Staron® Solid Surfaces in Bright White. The special feature is a fold out bar extension that slides out during busy events for additional bar space. It can then slide back into place during more intimate events, creating a dynamic bar space that can be transformed.

The new brilliant, pure hue emulates the crisp whiteness and beautiful brightness of a quasar. Quasar White redefines white on white, and introduces a new element to design. Use this new colour on its own for a beautiful clean look, or with other darker or vivid colours for a dramatic contrast.

The Staron® Design Award industry judges are Mandi Keigran (Indesign Magazine), Stephen Varady (Kann Finch) and Amanda Stanaway (Woods Bagot Pty Ltd). We welcome the judges and are looking forward to their professional opinions. The Staron Design Awards are now open for Entries and will have two editions in 2011 over 3 categories (Commercial, Residential and Concept).
